Foundry Intensives

A school break that moves them forward.

Full-day Foundry during selected October and summer breaks. Learners work at their actual academic level, then use what they know to build, solve, communicate and complete a substantial challenge with peers.

A Guide and young learners exchanging ideas around a table

12–16 or 19–23 October 2026

One-week and multi-week options

2 hours of Foundry Atlas each day

Not another holiday activity

Measurable academics and a challenge worth finishing.

An Intensive is a concentrated version of the Foundry model. The full day creates enough time for precise academic work and meaningful collaboration without pretending one activity can serve every learner at the same level.
01

Personalized mastery

Diagnostics and adaptive tools put each learner on the right academic work rather than giving the whole cohort one worksheet.

02

Human guidance

Guides set expectations, maintain focus, notice avoidance, coach recovery and help each learner use the tools well.

03

Work worth sharing

Devices close and the group applies knowledge through making, movement, communication, problem solving and a visible outcome.

A full Foundry day

The screen is a tool. The whole day is the product.

Adaptive platforms make the academic block more precise. The time they save creates room for Guides, peers, movement, lunch, practical work and a shared finish line.

Establish the starting point

Identify secure knowledge, missing prerequisites and the most useful next step.

Work at the right level

Use focused adaptive practice to close gaps or accelerate without waiting for the group.

Use English and knowledge

Discuss, plan, make decisions and apply academic thinking to real work.

Finish visibly

Present, demonstrate, perform or test what the group created by the end of the cohort.

Selected October and summer cohorts

International School English Intensive

For academically capable learners who need stronger English to participate confidently in an English-medium school.

This is full-day English immersion through mathematics, science, reading, projects, presentations, teamwork and practical communication. Learners use English to accomplish things instead of spending the entire day studying English as an isolated subject.

  • Academic and English starting levels separated
  • Reading, writing, speaking and classroom comprehension
  • Projects and challenges completed through English
  • Progress reported in academic access and language independence

October 2026 calendar match

Two possible weeks, built around the breaks schools actually publish.

School calendars do not all use the same October week. Foundry can confirm either window when the learner mix and minimum enrollment are strong enough.

19–23 October 2026

Late-October school break

This five-day window aligns with the published 2026–27 October break at Chiang Mai International School.

Published calendars can change. Final Foundry dates are confirmed in writing before payment. If your school uses another break, name the school and dates in your application.

Straight answers

Before reserving an Intensive

Is an Intensive just a holiday camp?

No. The day has an academic baseline, personalized mastery, Guide accountability and visible progress. Projects, movement and collaboration make the experience enjoyable, but they are part of a deliberate learning model rather than unstructured childcare.

Will every listed date definitely run?

No. Foundry collects availability across the calendars used by Chiang Mai international schools, then confirms selected cohorts when minimum enrollment is reached. Families receive the final schedule and terms before payment.

Do I need to change my child's regular school?

No. Intensives are designed specifically for school breaks and allow families to experience Foundry without changing their normal school arrangement.

Will every Intensive have the same project?

No. The precise project or shared challenge depends on the cohort, available time, learner profiles and environment. Every version keeps the same Foundry structure of personalized academics, human guidance and substantial work with peers.

How do reservations and deposits work?

Register the dates and pathways your family could genuinely use. Foundry confirms the cohort schedule, price, minimum-enrollment condition, deposit amount, transferability and refund terms in writing before requesting payment.

Which school-break dates work for your family?

Register every October or summer window you could use. Foundry will confirm the strongest small cohorts before requesting payment.
