Eight-week challenge studio

Public speaking & media

Turn an idea into a message people remember.

Why it matters

Clear speaking is a force multiplier. It helps a Builder explain what they know, lead a group, ask for support and make a good idea travel further than it could on its own.

What Builders practise

  • Audience awareness
  • Story structure
  • Voice and presence
  • Persuasive reasoning
  • Giving and using feedback

The eight-week arc

Weeks 1–2

Find the message

Choose a topic worth caring about and learn what the audience needs.

Weeks 3–4

Build the story

Shape evidence, examples and a memorable opening into a clear argument.

Weeks 5–6

Test it live

Perform, receive direct feedback and improve the moments that lose attention.

Weeks 7–8

Own the room

Rehearse under pressure and deliver a final talk without hiding behind slides.

Week-eight capstone

A final challenge families will remember.

A live, TED-style talk judged on clarity, evidence and audience impact. The final brief may add a playful parent-versus-Builder persuasion round.

Where it happens

Built around the challenge.

Indoor studio, outdoor rehearsal zones and a final live audience space.
