The eight-week arc

Weeks 1–2

Ask a testable question

Turn curiosity into a prediction and define what would count as evidence.

Weeks 3–4

Design the test

Control variables, choose measurements and build the apparatus.

Weeks 5–6

Follow the result

Repeat the test, challenge weak explanations and revise the design.

Weeks 7–8

Defend the finding

Present the evidence, uncertainty and next experiment to a skeptical audience.

Week-eight capstone

A final challenge families will remember.

A live invention test followed by questions from families, with the Builders defending the evidence and improving the design in real time.
